Commercial Plumber Foreman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Plumber Foreman to lead plumbing crews on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews on-site

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project layout and installation procedures

• Plan and schedule plumbing work based on project timelines and material availability

• Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with safety standards and plumbing codes

• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to coordinate workflow

• Order and manage inventory of plumbing materials and tools

• Train and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers

• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues as they arise on the job site

• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and work progress

• Enforce site safety and company policies at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training preferred

• Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role

• Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and OSHA safety regulations

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

• Proficient in using plumbing tools, equipment, and technology

• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and in various weather conditions

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
