Description

聽Landing Gear Technologies (LGT) is an FAA-Certified Repair Station specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft landing gears and components. We believe our organization can only be as good as the employees that stand behind it. In this constantly growing industry, we are always seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team.

We are looking for a Landing Gear Assembly Technician to support the final assembly and build-up of aircraft landing gear components and assemblies. This position focuses on the precise reassembly and testing of overhauled or repaired parts, ensuring they meet OEM and FAA standards for quality and airworthiness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

路 Perform final assembly and build-up of landing gear components, subassemblies, and full assemblies per OEM Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and work instructions.

路 Install seals, O-rings, hardware, bushings, bearings, and fittings using appropriate tools and calibrated equipment.

路 Torque hardware to specified values and record all critical measurements and readings.

路 Ensure proper alignment, fitment, and functionality of all parts during assembly.

路 Perform hydraulic shock strut test, gap checks, and other test as required.

路 Collaborate with Quality teams to complete in-process and final inspections.

路 Tag and prepare completed assemblies for shipment or return to customer.

路 Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, serial numbers, and inspection results.

路 Follow all safety guidelines and ensure a clean and organized work area.

路 Support continuous improvement initiatives and process consistency within the assembly area.

Qualifications:

路 High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or A&P license a plus.

路 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace or MRO.

路 Proficient with hand tools, torque wrenches, hydraulic presses, and alignment tools.

路 Ability to interpret and follow CMMs, blueprints, and detailed work instructions.

路 Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail.

路 Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station procedures is preferred.

路 Team player with strong communication and time management skills. 聽

路 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.

路 Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

路 Must be able to wear appropriate PPE and work in a shop environment.

路 Must be able to hear, understand, and distinguish sounds and speak clearly.
