CAD Technician

Job DetailsJob Location: Hialeah Gardens, FL 33018JOB DESCRIPTION: A Cad Technician’s primary responsibility is to create technical drawings to help design construction projects. RESPONSIBLITIES: Using CAD software, such as AutoCAD to prepare technical drawings Working with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications Ensuring that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards Maintaining a library of standard drawing templates Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available Drafts and optimizes general plan drawings Revises drawings and completes standard calculations Conducts field visits to locate grading markers and collect data Attends team meetings to delineate design requirements Participates in specialty design work as needed Manages and organizes CAD files QualificationsREQUIREMENTS: Minimum 1 year of CAD design and drafting experience Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Knowledge of design and engineering principles Highly detail-oriented Strong analytical and organizational skills Associate degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
