Position Summary
The Cook is responsible for the preparation and cooking of meals for patients, staff, and visitors in accordance with established recipes, dietary guidelines, food safety regulations, and hospital policies. This position ensures that all meals are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food quality, sanitation, and patient dietary requirements. The Cook plays an essential role in supporting the hospital’s commitment to providing nutritious meals that contribute to patient care and overall satisfaction.
Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year of cooking experience in a healthcare facility, restaurant, school cafeteria, or institutional food service preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to follow standardized recipes and dietary guidelines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
