About the Role:
Caraf Oil Transportation is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Fuel Truck Driver to join our team in Miami Lakes, FL. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a fuel tanker truck to transport and deliver petroleum products to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Connect hoses and operate pumping equipment to offload fuel at customer sites
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and fuel transfer records
- Adhere to all hazardous materials (HazMat) handling and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules
- Ensure spill prevention and respond appropriately to any fuel-related incidents
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A or CDL-B) required
- HazMat and Tanker endorsements required
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving a tanker or fuel truck preferred
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and hours-of-service (HOS) compliance
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or flexible shifts as needed
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset
