Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and life-support interventions. The ICU RN works collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced community hospital setting.
Qualifications
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN required; BSN preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred (new graduates may be considered with appropriate training)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association)
CCRN certification preferred or willingness to obtain
