Security Guard (Full-Time)

Larkin Community Hospital is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe, secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. We are seeking a reliable and proactive Security Guard to join our team and help ensure the safety and security of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols of the hospital grounds, including parking areas and entrances.
• Respond to alarms, security breaches, and emergency situations promptly and effectively.
• Assist hospital staff, patients, and visitors with safety-related concerns and provide directions as needed.
• Enforce hospital policies and procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment.
• Report and document incidents, including writing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

Job Requirements:

• Security Training or Certification. 
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and handle physical tasks.
• Basic knowledge of hospital protocols and emergency procedures is a plus.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.

Work Schedule: 

Night Shift 10:30PM-7:00AM
