Job Description :

This position supports component repair and overhaul activities at our Part 145 Repair Station located in Hialeah, Florida. Experience repairing/overhauling Galley components and ability to use hand tools, including calibrated micrometers and torque wrenches, is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED.
  • Must have mechanical ability ,and/or Galley overhaul experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with Galley and electrical theory and wiring preferred.
  • Must have some type of technical capacity (aviation, automotive, etc.)
  • Results driven.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, paint and modify Galley components using state-of-the-art repair techniques and test equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufactures specifications.
  • Reads and follows plans and manuals, customer order instructions, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
  • Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/repair/maintenance duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Functionally test all assemblies to ensure serviceability of completed units.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements.
  • Develops tools and equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufactures specifications as required.
  • Prepare documentation.
  • Assist in the training and development of other junior level personnel.
  • A technician may be assigned to one or more departments, depending on operational needs of the company at the time of assignment.
  • All other duties as assigned or required.
