Job Summary
The Final TestĀ Technician RoleĀ is responsible forĀ verifying both hardware and software functionality at the end of the manufacturing process. This role is critical to the success of our companyās mission, as it serves asĀ one ofĀ the finalĀ checkpointĀ to ensure that products meet quality standards before they are shipped to customers. ByĀ identifyingĀ and addressing any last-minute issues,Ā theĀ thisĀ roleĀ helpsĀ maintainĀ our reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality products.Ā
Essential FunctionsĀ
The Final Test technicianĀ is responsible forĀ performing functionality testing and system stress testing on hardware and software at the end of the manufacturing process. Key responsibilities include:Ā
Executing comprehensive test procedures to verify product performance.Ā
IdentifyingĀ and troubleshooting any hardware or software issues.Ā
Set Up and Maintain Test Equipment/assetsĀ
ensuring each unit meets quality and reliability standards before shipment.Ā Ā
Accurately Analyze and document test results, observations, and anomalies.Ā
Support product Development by providing feedback to design teams based on manufacturability and testing outcomes.Ā
Scope and ComplexityĀ
This role requiresĀ a high levelĀ of autonomy, with technicians working independently based on a set schedule. Self-motivation and the ability to manage tasks without direct supervision are essential. Technicians make routine decisions related to testing, troubleshooting, and escalating issues when needed. While not a formal leadership role, it requires ownership, accountability, and occasionally mentoring less experienced team members.Ā
Tools, Technology, or Equipment UsedĀ
Final Test Technicians routinely use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, and specialized test fixtures.Ā
Knowledge,Ā SkillsĀ and AbilitiesĀ
Identifies common test failures, performs basic diagnostics, and communicates findings clearly.Ā
Can interpret basic wiring diagrams, test procedures, and technical documentation to perform tasks correctly.Ā
Comfortable using test software, Microsoft Excel, and internal systems for tracking and documentation.Ā
Shares test results, issues, and updates with team members and engineers clearly and professionally.Ā
Able to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently to meet daily schedules.Ā
Accurately records test results, logs defects, and completes reports asĀ required.Ā
Ensures accuracy in test setups, data entry, and following procedures toĀ maintainĀ quality standards.Ā
Ability to perform simple voltage, continuity, and resistance checks using standard equipment.Ā

RequiredĀ Qualifications
Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected personā)Ā
Education requirements: GED/High School DiplomaĀ
Two or more yearsĀ of hands-on electronics experienceĀ Ā
Preferred Qualifications
IPC certificationĀ
Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology.Ā
Working ConditionsĀ
Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with consistent exposure to the manufacturing floor and testing environments. May requireĀ lifting upĀ to 25Ā lbsĀ and standing forĀ extended periods of time.Ā Ā
