Job DetailsJob Location: Century Casegoods Plant 1 - Hickory, NC 28601Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayPosition Summary: Operates Bore Machine ensuring quality outcome on furniture. Position Details: Reads daily production schedule and gathers parts as needed Determines which boring machine is the one that needs to be used for part on schedule Reads dimensions on ticket and sets up boring machine accordingly Sets up depth and diameter of hole/holes being bored - in most cases it is necessary to find and match parts Runs part and loads onto shop buggy and takes to the next operation needed Observes plant safety rules Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor QualificationsPosition Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous Bore Machine experience preferred Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
