Job DetailsJob Location: Century Chair Plant 3 - Hickory, NC 28601Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DaySummary Job Description This position is responsible for nailing brass nails to furniture using a brass nail gun. May also need to apply kick pleats, trims, and welt. Essential Duties Able to apply welt and welt grooves Able to brass nail with various sizes of nails using a gun or by hand when necessary Ability to understand instructions on production tickets pertaining to nail and trip application Ability to apply glue adhesive for tape trim application Able to apply hardware as needed Ability to use an air screw driver and drill Able to use a welt cutting machine to trim welt before application Must follow all safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned QualificationsPosition Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Previous brass nailing experience a plus Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
