Hybrid work schedule available (work from home 1–3 days per week)
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am–5pm

Education: Candidates should possess one of the following, though other technical degrees with demonstrated drafting skills will be considered:

  • A.A.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • A.O.S. in Drafting/CAD
  • Drafting Certificate/Certification
  • Candidates without formal degrees must demonstrate proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting

Description

As a member of a global drafting team, you will support the creation, revision, and management of electronic drawing files using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD for custom-designed process equipment deployed across multiple manufacturing locations worldwide.

 

This role focuses on executing drafting updates and modeling tasks under the direction of a drafting lead or engineering team. Responsibilities include preparing complete engineering drawing sets for release into Autodesk Vault, ensuring compliance with established drafting standards.

 

You will work with a variety of drawing types including detail, sheet metal, weldment, and assembly drawings. This position does not involve new design development but instead emphasizes accurate drafting execution and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interpret and work from redlined drawings and engineering markups
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to drafting standards
  • Willingness to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to manage workload in a deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

  • No prior professional experience required
  • Basic proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Vault is a plus
  • Ability to use basic measurement tools such as tape measures and calipers
  • Awareness of ASME/ANSI drafting standards
  • General proficiency with Windows-based computer systems
  • Ability to adapt to company drafting standards and guidelines
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
