Job DetailsJob Location: Century Chair Plant 3 - Hickory, NC 28601Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DaySummary Job Description This position is responsible for staging furniture to the final inspection area and or moving material in other assigned areas Essential Duties Push furniture frames in the Upholstery Dept Organize and maintain furniture coming in the Upholstery Department Help stag work to the Inside & Outside Upholstery Departments May break down or tear down repairs Must be able to move specific product to work areas in a timely manner May be required to work in multiple departments or assigned areas Ability to learn to identify and measure different types of furniture Rotate stock- FIFO (first in first out), as appropriate Must be self-motivated with little supervision QualificationsPosition Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Previous material handling experience a plus Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
