Job Summary

The Portfolio Management Specialist - Equipment Finance is responsible for administration of specific portfolio activities including titling of motor vehicles, tracking of off-lease vehicles, general reporting and other Asset & Portfolio Management duties.

 

Job Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Generates a monthly 90 day missing title report for distribution and follows-up with Lessors, ESOs and other Clients. 

  • Indexes and identifies motor vehicle titles with account numbers upon receipt. Enters titles into the system and files in the appropriate location.  

  • Provides title releases within 48 hours of receipt of payoff or as directed. 

  • Follows up with Lessors and FF&L ESOs for missing and/or unperfected titles both vial email and phone. 

  • Provides copies of titles and ELT receipts upon request. 

  • Maintains title status comments in the system. 

  • Monitors the Indirect Vehicle portfolio for accounts to be placed in Off-Lease and works with the Lessors to rectify.

  • Provides portfolio reporting to SFAM Management as necessary. 

  • Provides support to the Asset/Portfolio Management teams as needed and cross-trains where and when applicable.  

 

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. 

  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS  

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Education level required: ​High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent​.

  • Minimum experience required: ​2+ Years​ of prior banking/finance experience in the financial services and/or insurance industries.   

 

 Job Competencies: 

  • Basic knowledge of title processing and customer service. 

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. 

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Proficient in MS Office. 

  • Ability to learn and navigate several systems and databases required to perform daily tasks.

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights. Aligns relationship building efforts with enterprise goals to accelerate performance and drive strategic results. 

  • Builds trusted client relationships, whether internal or external, by identifying needs and delivering tailored solutions to enhance the overall client experience. 

  • Fosters or supports a positive work culture and productive work environment, displaying importance of effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
