QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Â
- PhD or DMA in voice performance or equivalent degreeÂ
- Experience teaching at the college/university levelÂ
- Be a good communicator, collaborator and team player who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, extraordinary environmentÂ
Â
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:Â
- Experience directing Musical Theater
- Expertise in Italian, Latin, English, German, and French diction for singers
- Expertise in vocal pedagogy
Â
RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
- Teach undergraduate studio voice lessons to voice majors, minors, and non-majors
- Serve as director of vocal division and help give guidance to adjunct voice faculty
- Participate in departmental and university service, with special focus on recruitment Â
- Participate in innovative teaching and curriculum development and assessmentÂ
