Starting Rate of Pay: $8.00 hourly
Length of Time: Eligible for rehire on a semester basis.
Job Description:
The Stream Team for Intercollegiate Club Sports will serve together to stream all home athletic events.
Job Location/ Hours Required:
Work hours may vary depending on job requirements; however, student employees are limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week and 8 hours per day. Position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Intercollegiate Club Sports.
Responsibilities:
- Meet regularly with part-time club coaches/students
- Lead according to the club sports manual of operations
- Communicate directly with club coaches and students to assist with program management.
- Attend HPU events to promote the club sports program, as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Sports Media degree preferred
- Athletics background a plus
Desired Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly organized
- Must have knowledge of programming and administering club sports
- Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and adobe creative cloud (photo shop)
- Must be able to be a team player,
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to High Point University's Vision, Mission, and Values and the values of the HPU Athletic Department
