Position Highlights:

  • Sign on Bonus: This job qualifies for a $15,000 sign on bonus (New Hire), $10,000 sign on bonus (New Grad) provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements.

What You'll Need:

  • Graduate of CAAHEP vascular sonography program/or comparable experience with RVT or RVS credentials required.
  • New graduates must obtain RVT or RVS credential within one year of hire.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Competencies in: ABI, Arterial Doppler (no intervention) Carotid (no intervention) Aortic (no intervention), Saphenous vein mapping, Exercise ABI, DVT Upper/ Lower extremity required.

What You'll Do:

  • Verifies physician's orders and reviews patient record prior to exam.
  • Performs basic vascular ultrasound testing according to accredited vascular laboratory protocols, ensures patient comfort throughout exam.
  • Recognizes and documents abnormal pathologies according to imaging protocol's as necessary to support diagnosis.
  • Provides physician detailed preliminary report.
  • Enters measurement data and final report into cardiovascular reporting system
  • Ensures equipment is cleaned and functioning in accordance with manufactures guidelines.
  • Enters charges into electronic medical record.

Physical Requirements

  • Light to moderate physical effort with lifting and moving patients, equipment and supplies.
  • Requires sitting, standing reaching, bending, pushing and pulling.
  • Intact sense of sight and hearing required.
