Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift Machine Room team in High Point, NC. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to produce high-quality aluminum and metal components used in custom truck and trailer body manufacturing.

The innovative product line-up is prevalent in industries such as food & beverage, vending, propane, rental trucks, emergency & rescue, battery, oil & natural gas, and data storage. What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish metal and aluminum components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and work instructions
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Complete production and quality documentation
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operating experience (metal fabrication preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • CNC programming and G-code knowledge preferred
  • Experience in truck, trailer, or automotive manufacturing is a plus

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/shop environment
  • Exposure to noise, metal dust, insulation materials, fumes, and moving machinery
  • Required use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, and protective clothing
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

 

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use hands and arms.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Ability to bend, reach, and work around machinery
  • Comfortable working in a noisy manufacturing environment
