As the Enrollment Content Creator, you’ll highlight High Point University’s incredible distinctions for prospective HPU students and parents. You’re a results-driven writer who enjoys both long-form and short-form stories and marketing copy for a variety of print and digital platforms. Your primary focus will be writing new copy, curating and repurposing existing copy, and curating other content, such as photos. You enjoy proofreading and fact-checking content. You also love seeking out and gathering important information from campus stakeholders to channel into engaging stories over a variety of mediums, including enrollment-focused social media pages. Overall, the Enrollment Content Creator contributes to a variety of content development projects for the enrollment cycle.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
Experience and Training
- Minimum two years’ experience in strategic communications, public relations, marketing or similar field preferred
- Experience working with a CRM (Slate is preferred).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Â
Marketing & Communications – Develops and executes integrated, multi-channel marketing and communication strategies that support graduate enrollment goals, including email, text, social media, digital advertising, print, web, and events.
Content Development – Creates, edits, and publishes compelling written, graphic, photo, and video content that promotes HPU’s graduate programs and maintains consistent University branding and messaging across platforms.
Recruitment Collaboration – Partners closely with graduate recruiters to develop program-specific campaigns, recruitment materials, events, presentations, phone/text campaigns, and other strategies that move prospective students from inquiry through enrollment.
Team Leadership & Student Workers – Supervises, trains, and supports student workers involved in graduate marketing and communications. Provide direction, assign projects, manage deadlines, and ensure quality and consistency of student-created content.
Campaign Management – Plans, coordinates, and evaluates recruitment campaigns for programs, events, application deadlines, and enrollment milestones. Work with recruiters and the Call Center to develop coordinated email, phone, and text campaigns.
Social Media Management – Develops and manages graduate school social media content across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok, ensuring consistent messaging, branding, and engagement.
Enrollment & Inquiry Development – Identifies opportunities to grow graduate inquiries and applicant pools through targeted outreach to feeder programs, advisors, pre-professional organizations, prospective student lists, and other audiences.
Data & Analytics – Monitors marketing and recruitment performance using Slate and other analytics tools. Develop reports, analyze trends and competitor activity, and use data to recommend improvements and inform enrollment strategies.
Campus Collaboration – Collaborates with faculty, staff, academic departments, advising offices, University Communications, and other campus partners to gather accurate information and develop effective recruitment and enrollment content.
Content & Storytelling – Conducts interviews with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other stakeholders to identify and develop compelling stories that support graduate enrollment and showcase the HPU experience.
Recruitment Materials & Events – Develops and maintains recruitment materials, presentations, FAQs, web content, brochures, digital ads, newsletters, and event materials. Support graduate fairs, open houses, and other recruitment events as needed.
CRM & Communication Management – Utilizes Slate and other communication platforms to develop campaigns, maintain accurate information, document communications, and support follow-up with prospective students and applicants.
Program Knowledge – Maintains current knowledge of HPU’s graduate and professional programs, admission requirements, student experiences, and career outcomes to ensure accurate and compelling communications.
Marketing Vendor Management – Coordinates with external marketing and communication vendors as needed to support graduate recruitment initiatives and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Team & Department Support – Works collaboratively with the Graduate Admissions team, including the Director and Cody, to implement strategic enrollment initiatives, support recruiters, and advance graduate enrollment goals.
 Other Duties – Performs other duties as assigned.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Ensures the development and achievement of HPU’s graduate enrollment objectives
- Ensures annual marketing and communications strategy for graduate and professional programs is developed and executed
- Ensures the university is positively represented on official social media accounts for graduate and professional programs
- Ensures projects are completed and published on schedule.
- Ensures content is consistent with the university brand and positively promotes the university in addition to graduate and professional programs
- Ensures deadlines for assigned projects are met.
