Description

Davis Furniture is a family-owned high-end furniture manufacturer who is a leader in contemporary contract furniture. We have been in business for over 75 years, and we put a strong focus on new product introductions because design is a choice.


Business at Davis is thriving! Sales are up, so we are actively seeking new team members to meet the continually growing demand.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be able to lift heavy furniture consistently.

Make sure all imported frames and parts are set up for production.

Monitor staging area to ensure that complete acknowledgements are set up for production.

Monitor the flow of product to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure smooth production flow.

Work with builders on resolving adjustments or repairs.

In the absence of a coach, will assume a leadership role to maintain production and quality level.

Attends daily meetings to facilitate rush/problem orders.

Maintains neat and orderly workstation.

Ensure area has needed supplies.

Wear the required safety glasses, work shoes and other PPE as defined for work area, work safely and report unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor.

Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
