QUALIFICATIONS:Â
It is strongly preferred that the candidate have relevant experience in hospitality, student affairs, higher education programming/experiences or student leadership and professional development (e.g., private or public student affairs, program development, experience management, etc.). Â Strong preference will be given to candidate with advanced training/degrees (e.g., MA, MEd, MS) and experience in health professions education settings.Â

Knowledge of best practices in student affairs, program management and development and user experience/event design to create and manage novel and engaging experiences for our learners.
Training and experience working with clients, patients, educators and student learners.
Collaboration with team members and learners to develop experiential opportunities that meet the needs of a target audience and stakeholder groups.
Use of creative/design thinking/user experience strategies to develop innovative and unique events across educational, clinical, professional and social settings.
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to address challenges in a start-up environment.
Ability to quickly build connections with team members, partners, and learners.
Proficiency with Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Canva, presentation and analytic software.
Ability to provide summary reports of learner activities from matriculation to graduation (i.e. budget breakdown, efficiency proposals, learner feedback analysis, improvement recommendations and experiential impact).
Awareness of individual and team needs to thrive in a start-up education model.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The candidate selected for this position will perform all duties directed by the Director of Admissions with input from the Assistant Dean for Learner Success. The candidate will be expected to perform the following duties, including but not limited to:Â

Communication and Opportunity Management
Creates, implements, monitors and assesses opportunities and experiences within the WSDM and the DMD program.
Plans, designs, implements and monitors appropriate communication to increase stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
Collaborates with internal and external partners and vendors to highlight and solidify and strengthen connections with the DMD program (e.g., ELT, Graduate Admissions, Campus Facilities, Communication, etc.)
Generates novel ideas for communication opportunities for the learners in our program when engaged in events and experiences.

Social Media Management
Creates, curates, and manages social media content, including text, audio, visual and multimedia formats around learner engagement and the greater dental school community.
Engages users with prompt responses, promotes collaboration with other partners, cultivate relationships while adhering to our social media guidelines.
Â
Experience Coordination and Evaluation
Aggregates data for professional opportunities and experiences to highlight successes, areas for improvement, stakeholder satisfaction and budget constraints.
Coordinates learner educational activities with relevant team members, partners, and stakeholders as needed (e.g., ELT, Human Resources, campus facilities, food/service vendors, etc.)
Serves as an elected or appointed representative on HPU and/or WSDM committees as appropriate.

ACCOUNTABILITY:Â
This position will report to the Director of Admissions and Engagement with input from the Assistant Dean for Learner Success.
Evaluation: Ongoing performance reviews are conducted along with an annual assessment by the Dean for Success, which includes input from the faculty, personnel, and learners.
