The Opportunity

We are seeking a process-driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing team. This role focuses on evaluating and improving manufacturing processes, supporting daily production operations, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Design, Project Management, Quality, and Procurement to improve manufacturability, standardize processes, and support the introduction of new products, technologies, and equipment within a modular manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes for large modular assemblies and identify improvement opportunities

  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives as directed, to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and labor efficiency

  • Research, evaluate, and engage vendors and equipment suppliers to support manufacturing improvements

  • Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting new product introductions

  • Support factory layout optimization, material flow improvements, and labor efficiency initiatives

  • Develop detailed ROI and business case proposals for capital expenditures, including cost-benefit analysis and payback calculations

  • Research, evaluate, and contact vendors and equipment suppliers to identify new manufacturing solutions

  • Coordinate equipment demonstrations, trials, and feasibility studies

  • Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support to production teams

  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to fabrication, assembly, piping, electrical integration, and testing

  • Support introduction of new products, designs, or module configurations into manufacturing

  • Support quality initiatives including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process capability improvements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experience.

  • 3–7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role

  • Proven experience evaluating manufacturing processes and leading improvement initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to develop ROI-based business cases for capital and process improvements Experience working with vendors and equipment suppliers

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Proficiency with manufacturing documentation and standard work development

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-focused environment

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement tools

  • Experience with welding, piping, mechanical assembly, electrical integration, and system testing preferred
