Starting Rate of Pay:  $12.00/hour

Length of Time: Eligible for rehire on a semester basis

Department Description

The Nido R. Qubein School of Communication (NQSC) houses 7 majors, 7 minors, and over 800 undergraduate students.  The Master of Arts in Communication and Business Leadership program currently has over 200 majors, with some face-to-face and some online.  We are looking for a graduate student to promote the Qubein School of Communication through our various social media channels.

Job Location/ Hours Required

The candidate will perform most/all job duties in the Nido R. Qubein School of Communication. Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours. This position requires up to 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with School of Communication faculty to promote the various programs on social media
  • Creates material and graphics to share on social media sites
  • Monitors social media sites as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Well-organized and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent copy editing/proofreading skills

Desired Skills:

Must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA
