Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in fixing, building, and maintaining? Do you enjoy making a real difference in a healthcare setting? We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility safe, comfortable, and running at its best for both residents and staff.

 One year of long-term care experience required

 What You’ll Do

As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping everything in top shape. No two days are the same!

  • Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure smooth operations
  • Respond quickly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
  • Perform a variety of repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and plastering
  • Construct and repair building structures, partitions, and equipment using hand and power tools
  • Keep our grounds looking great with landscaping tasks like mowing, trimming, planting, and more
  • Assist with cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining company vehicles
  • Help create a safe, well-maintained environment everyone can rely on

 What We’re Looking For

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience

  • At least 1 year of maintenance technician experience
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting required

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must meet EveryAge’s auto insurance coverage standards
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
