Job DetailsJob Location: Atlantic Division - High Point, NC 27260Position Type: Full-Time Cascade Die Casting Group Job Description/Expectations JOB TITLE: Warehouse Clerk CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: Atlantic / Logistics DATE DEVELOPED: 06/2023 REPORTS TO: Warehouse & Materials Supervisor POSITION SCOPE: The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for a variety of duties connected with the operations of the Logistics department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure 100% error-free shipments and invoices. Ensure 100% scanning of product through all aspects of process. Ship material per customer release schedule. Adhere to First In, First Out (FIFO) standards Complete necessary shipping papers & bills of lading with signatures. Assure proper identification of material before shipping. Make necessary shipping arrangements with trucking lines to fulfill customer requirements. Assist in inventory. Ensure all materials are kept in their designated storage area. Report any concerns regarding the organization of areas to your immediate supervisor. Follows instructions from supervisor to adapt to any short-term requirements. Load and unload trailers and trucks as required. Properly completes daily paperwork. Maintain turn around time for load / unloading trucks to no more than 1 hour. Maintain clean and orderly work area consistent with safety and work rules and regulations. Work safely around and/or while operating heaving equipment or manufacturing machinery. Work overtime hours as required and be available for emergency overtime when the need arises. Regularly report for work on time with a desire to perform to the best of your abilities. Comply with all company employment policies, procedures/processes, and programs. Performs duties in compliance quality, as well as safety policies, procedures/processes, and programs. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Work cooperatively with others in a team environment. Exhibit Companies Core Values.
