Warehouse 2nd Shift


JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate receiving and shipping of materials, maintaining inventory integrity, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards. Success in this role requires hands-on warehouse experience, ability to work as a team, and strong initiative.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Always exhibits the highest standard of personal ethics and adheres to all Pella Carolina policies.
  • promote a culture of safety and accountability by adhering to established protocols, proactively identifying potential risks, and fostering a workplace environment where safety is a shared priority.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers.
  • Regularly Load and unload heavy material while working as a team to organize windows and doors safely and efficiently.
  • Operates forklifts and cherry pickers to move products and stage in correct locations.
  • Uses warehouse scanners to track inventory and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
  • Provide input on process improvements and assist in implementing best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or 
  • 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment; experience with window and door products or building materials is a plus.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 100+ lbs. and work in a physically demanding setting.
  • Familiarity with handling large, fragile items such as windows and doors
