High Point University is currently seeking a full-time Admissions Web and Portal Content Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of Admissions Operations and Technology, this role is a key member of the Admissions Operations Team. Collaborating closely with the Office of Communications, Information Technology, Academic Departments and other campus stakeholders, this position’s primary role is to design, manage and maintain the Office of Admissions web and digital platforms to enhance the prospective student experience and support enrollment goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Masters preferred.

Experience and Training

  • 3-4 years of experience in related position is preferred.
  • Website development and content management experience required.
  • Previous CRM lifecycle management experience preferred
  • Should possess high energy, attention to detail, and the ability to organize effectively.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

  • Proficient in web and application development using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and database systems (e.g., SQL).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, Canva, and other digital media software is preferred.
  • Must be team player/individual contributor with the mindset to operate effectively in an ever-changing environment.
  • The ability to travel and work nights and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to connect with the executive team of the university and maintain a culture of execution.
  • Ability to consider dozens of variables when working on a problem
  • Impeccable time management and solution finding skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as the digital content coordinator for the Office of Admissions website (WordPress) and portal design for our CRM system (Slate). Responsibilities include designing/ building landing pages, maintaining Admissions webpages, auditing digital content and enhancing portal designs to support the full recruitment and application lifecycle.
  • Maintains and enhances Slate CRM portals, ensuring a user-friendly and intuitive experience for potential students and their families. This includes creating and testing applications, forms, and digital assets.
  • Works collaboratively with the Admissions Campus Events, Graduate Admissions and Counseling teams to understand their needs and provide creative, data-driven technical solutions.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track key digital metrics like web traffic, campaign effectiveness, timelines and content data management.
  • Creates and updates admissions-related webpages and dynamic content to enhance engagement. Ensuring accessibility standards are met and the user experience is optimized across devices.
  • Conducts regular data audits to ensure the flow of data between all Admissions related digital assets are up to date and accurate.
  • Stays active in Slate user groups and seek out professional development networks to keep the institution current on innovations in the development of digital platforms.
  • Travels when needed for conferences and/or site visits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Accountable to direct supervisor, plus the Senior VP of Enrollment and the Office of Communications to ensure digital content is timely and accurate.
  • Accountable to the Admissions Operations Team as a valued member, contributor, and teammate.
