Position Summary:Ā 

Provides direction and leadership for site manufacturing activities to achieve safety, cost,Ā qualityĀ and delivery goals. Manages available resources and leads associates to perform all departmental tasks in the mostĀ cost-effectiveĀ manner while ensuring a quality product is processed according to schedule. Ensures proper use of all Swagelok personnel systems and adherence to all regulatory requirements placed on the plant. Supports company operating plan along with Swagelok’s mission,Ā visionĀ and valuesĀ 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Ā 

Operational CadenceĀ 

• Drives Lean Daily Management System (LDMS) Cadence to achieve operational excellenceĀ 

• EstablishĀ metrics & goals: visible and understoodĀ 

• Execute based on metrics (daily/weekly/monthly),Ā Ā 

• Daily management of escalation and problem solving, including support resourcesĀ Ā 

• UtilizingĀ Capacity/Load targets, develop/execute staffing/scheduling plans, adjusting to a daily/weekly/monthly cadenceĀ Ā 

• Drives ā€œBoundary Teamā€ alignment between operations and all support functions, clearly defining expectations and holding all associates equally accountableĀ 

LeadershipĀ Ā 

• DemonstrateĀ alignment of corporate mission, vision,Ā valuesĀ and strategiesĀ Ā

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Ā 

Required:Ā 

• High School DiplomaĀ 

• Intermediate computer skills (e.g.Ā Microsoft Office, utilizing MRP systems, data mining & report generation)Ā 

Preferred:Ā 

• Bachelor'sĀ degreeĀ 

• Manufacturing experience (CNC, Conventional & Auxiliary equipment), or similar business experiencesĀ 

• PreviousĀ formal leadership roles or experiencesĀ
