Woodbury Commons Security Guards - Full-Time

Position Overview

Snoop Investigations & Security is seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to provide meal relief coverage at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in Central Valley, New York. This position plays a critical role in maintaining continuous security coverage by relieving on-duty officers during scheduled breaks and meal periods throughout the property.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, punctual, and capable of working in various areas of the site while maintaining a professional security presence and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide meal and break relief coverage for assigned security personnel.
• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
• Patrol assigned areas and monitor for safety and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and public areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and policy violations.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs as required.
• Assist visitors, tenants, employees, and customers with directions and general inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, management, and emergency responders.
• Ensure uninterrupted security coverage during all scheduled relief periods.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Previous security experience in retail, commercial, hospitality, or customer-facing environments.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification.
• Experience working in high-traffic public venues.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to patrol large outdoor and indoor areas.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents and emergencies.

Schedule

Schedules may vary based on operational needs and relief coverage requirements. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage.
