The History Founded in 1896 as Illinois' third golf club, Exmoor is a private, full-service country club, located in Highland Park, Illinois, 28 miles north of Chicago. With a championship golf course designed by Donald J. Ross, Exmoor continues to fulfill its original mission as a family club devoted to the game of golf, while offering a growing range of sports and social opportunities. Sports at Exmoor include golf, curling, tennis, swimming, ice skating, platform tennis, cross-country skiing, and the fastest-growing sport in America, pickleball. Members of all ages enjoy a year-round schedule of exciting social activities. The Club's mission is to provide the finest golf, sporting, and social experiences for its community of member families and their guests all year long. Responsibilities: Will properly load and operate dishwashers for optimum cleaning and sanitizing Will restock clean dishes and utensils and cookware. Should maintain clean and hygienic work areas and equipment Will remove and dispose of garbage from cleaned plates and utensils Can communicate effectively with coworkers/manager for job performance May assist in back-of-the-house areas if needed Will need to monitor equipment, supplies and inventory for work area and advise Chef if repairs or additional supplies are needed Assigned weekly cleaning duties/projects QualificationsQualifications: Should work effectively in team environment Should be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with staff Food handlers certification a plus for possible prep line training Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. of crated dishware/glasses, and stand for up to 8 hours at a time Must be dependable and punctual, and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays Note: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
