Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Fire Alarm Technician with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the installation, service, inspection, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems. Must live in the Chicago Area
Responsibilities
- Install, program, test, inspect, and service fire alarm systems.Â
- Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm panels, devices, and communication equipment.Â
- Complete inspection reports, service tickets, and related documentation accurately.Â
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with fire alarm systems.Â
- Experience with commercial fire alarm systems preferred.Â
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and low-voltage systems.Â
- Strong communication and customer service skills.Â
- Valid driver's licenseÂ
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Â
- General work hours 7:30am to 4:30pm: Monday Through Friday
- Technician supplied basic hand tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Â
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.Â
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.Â
- Ability to work with power toolsÂ
