As a Security Transporter, you are the front line of safety, ensuring secure movement and a stable environment for youth ages 12 to 20 within our high-security residential treatment facility.

Your Impact: Safety & Security in Action

In this role, your primary mission is to protect our youth, staff, and community. You will be responsible for:

• Secure Transportation: Managing the safe travel and transportation of youth participants.
• Vigilant Monitoring: Overseeing outdoor recreation areas and tracking both authorized and unauthorized visitors.
• Rapid Response: Acting as a first responder to any crisis situations occurring on or off facility grounds.
• Operational Oversight: Ensuring building fire safety and monitoring staff access and daily program operations.

Qualifications & Characteristics

• Education: High school diploma.
• Age: Must be 21 or older.
• Licensure: Valid and unrestricted Michigan driver’s license.
• Compliance: Ability to pass a physical exam, TB test, and drug screening.
• Clearances: Must obtain DHHS Central Registry, Criminal Background, and National Sex Offender Registry clearances.
• Availability: Full-time and part-time positions available; we have shifts for afternoons, nights, and weekends.
