Position Summary 
The Massage Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized bodywork that promotes relaxation, recovery, and overall wellness. This role involves tailoring treatments to individual client needs, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, and collaborating with team members across the Wellness Center. The therapist will also educate clients on self-care practices and support them in achieving their health and wellness goals in alignment with Alive and Well’s mission.  

Core Responsibilities 

• Conduct thorough client consultations and develop customized treatment plans. 

• Deliver massage services across multiple modalities (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Lymphatic). 

• Recommend treatment frequency, aftercare, and supplemental services. 

• Promote Alive and Well service enhancements and at-home tools. 

• Maintain accurate client records in Mindbody. 

• Ensure treatment spaces are clean, organized, and properly stocked. 

• Follow Alive and Well service protocols to ensure consistency. 

• Collaborate with colleagues across Wellness, Retail, and Hospitality. 

• Refer clients to other supportive Alive and Well services when appropriate. 

• Uphold strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times. 

Qualifications 

• Active Massage Therapy License in the State of Texas. 

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional massage therapy experience in a luxury spa, wellness, or healthcare setting. 

• Proficiency in multiple massage modalities. 

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications. 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred. 

• Passion for holistic health and ongoing professional growth. 

Key Performance Indicators 

• Punctuality and attendance in alignment with scheduling policies. 

• Guest satisfaction, retention, and rebooking rates. 

• Adherence to Alive and Well protocols and documentation standards. 

• Promotion of service enhancements and client education. 

• Consistently maintaining cleanliness and readiness of treatment spaces. 

• Active participation in required staff meetings and trainings.
