Exciting Opportunity: Financial Aid Coordinator at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture!

Tricoci University of Beauty Culture (TUBC) is dedicated to providing exceptional education in the beauty industry. We are currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Financial Aid Coordinator to join our team. This role is vital in supporting our students by guiding them through the financial aid process, allowing them to focus on their education and future careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students and families with understanding their financial aid options, including scholarships, grants, and loans.
  • Provide guidance on completing financial aid applications accurately and promptly.
  • Evaluate financial aid documents for completeness and accuracy to determine student eligibility.
  • Conduct workshops on financial literacy, educating students on budgeting and managing their finances.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create a holistic support system for students.
  • Monitor financial aid disbursements and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to student inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in financial aid, student services, or related fields is preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in financial aid software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student body.
  • Passion for helping students succeed and achieve their career goals.
  • Spanish Speaking preferred

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $22.00 and $24.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
