Job DetailsJob Location: Highland , NY 12528Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 HourlyRocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning all inclusive family resort in the heart of the Hudson Valley, is searching for a Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all daily food and beverage operations. At Rocking Horse, we cater to families of all ages, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktail parties, and special events daily for all in-house guests. In this role, you will assist in leading a team of up to 100 employees, across both front and back of house, in a high energy dining room serving upwards of 500 guests per meal.  Responsibilities  Maintain a consistent and extremely high level of guest service, ensuring thoughtful service is demonstrated by all restaurant staff Recruit, train, schedule, supervise and appraise front and back of house personnel  Ensure all food, health, and safety regulations are rigorously maintained Manage and forecast food and beverage inventory, overseeing vendor relationships and negotiating supplier arrangements Exhibit excellence in both front and back of house skills daily QualificationsQualifications Several years of managerial experience in the hospitality/food and beverage/bar industry, with experience using a property management or POS system High sanitation standards and exceptional attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; player-coach mentality required Ability to work on your feet throughout the day, and flexible working availability including weekends and holidays Rocking Horse Ranch Resort offers a competitive wage and benefits package, including medical, dental and supplemental insurances, profit sharing plan, vacation and sick time, and 401k.
