Job DetailsJob Location: Highland , NY 12528Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00 HourlyRocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking talented and experienced Horse Wranglers for the largest saddle horse operation in North America. You will instruct guests of all riding levels, from first-time riders to expert equestrians. Full time employees are eligible for all benefits. Responsibilities: Daily horse care, including brushing and grooming, saddling and tack maintenance, barn work, and feeding Provide a warm and Western riding experience for guests of all skill levels Maintain a fun and safe riding environment by adhering to all procedures as set by management Direct and lead up to 8 guest rides per day with our herd of 120 strong Qualifications Expert horse care and riding skills, including the ability to mount and dismount without a block, and walk, trot, canter, and stop a horse Guest focused approach and high level of patience Strong work ethic, adept at multi-tasking, and a true team player Physical capacity to navigate around 100+ horses and ride in diverse weather conditions, and must be able to lift 50+ lbs over your head Competitive wage and benefits package, including medical, dental, supplemental insurance, profit sharing, 401k, vacation and sick time.
