Enrollment Coordinator
This position offices in-person, at the Valor Christian business office location

ROLE SUMMARY
In collaboration with the Admission and Business Services teams, the Enrollment Coordinator works closely with families throughout the entire enrollment and tuition assistance process, providing the highest level of customer service at each step along the way. This position is responsible for maintaining the enrollment contracts and amendments as well as providing accurate and timely enrollment data to Valor Christian staff and leadership on a regular basis. When necessary, the Enrollment Coordinator will assist families through the withdrawal process and coordinate the tuition refund insurance program.

Primary Responsibilities
Manage the enrollment process for new and transfer students by assisting families with enrollment documents, timelines, and tuition payment plans
Enter and maintain student enrollment data in the master database including graduation year, tuition amount, and tuition assistance, and prepare data for export and reporting purposes
Track and analyze enrollment data to identify trends, aid in decision-making and troubleshoot enrollment issues
Prepare weekly and annual enrollment reports
Provide professional communication to navigate potentially difficult conversations with grace and compassion
Act as the primary contact for families seeking tuition assistance, assist in the review process, and issue the tuition assistance award amendments
Support the Explore Valor events by being present to answer tuition assistance related questions from prospective familiesÂ
Manage the student withdrawal process, including the submission of insurance documents and issuance of tuition refunds and preparation of release agreements

RESULTS
The Enrollment Coordinator will have successfully managed enrollment, tuition assistance, and student billing processes while providing exceptional service to families. This position will have maintained accurate data and reporting, analyzed enrollment trends to support decision-making, and strengthened collaboration with Admissions and Finance to improve operational effectiveness and the overall family experience.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
 Experience
Previous school enrollment or admissions experience preferred
3-5 years experience in customer service or administration preferredÂ
Required Competencies
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to keep sensitive financial and family information confidential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Quick learner who is able to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities
Competent in navigating challenging conversations
Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor with a positive disposition while working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to quickly and proficiently master new software applications and other technology
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite software programs

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The same basic physical demands described here are the same for all employees to successfully perform the essential functions of their jobs.
