Job DetailsJob Location: 137 S 4TH ST - HIGHLANDS, NC 28741The Poolside Bartender provides efficient, personable, and professional beverage service to guests while creating a welcoming and relaxed poolside experience. This role primarily supports poolside service but may also work at various Old Edwards Hospitality Group bar outlets across the property, including indoor and outdoor venues as needed. Responsibilities Provide friendly, attentive, and professional beverage service to guests. Prepare consistently high-quality cocktails, beer, and wine according to standards. Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to all ABC regulations. Maintain knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktail menus, which may vary by outlet. Use the Micros POS system to accurately process orders and payments. Handle cash and transactions responsibly with strong basic math skills. Maintain a clean, organized bar area and complete all opening and closing checklists. Ensure bars are fully stocked with necessary supplies throughout service. Communicate clearly with guests and team members while maintaining a high service standard. Accommodate guest requests whenever possible and provide alternatives when needed. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Handle guest concerns professionally and help create a positive guest experience. Upsell menu items and beverages when appropriate. Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Work collaboratively with team members across multiple outlets as business needs require. Qualifications Bartending and server experience needed. Excellent communication skills are important for this position Must be Guest oriented and friendly Must be 21 years of age Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
