Janitorial Supervisors

Description

RK Pharma Inc, a US based company with subsidiaries in India, is experienced professionals to do clean room cleaning and product visual inspection to complement our growing Facilities/Manufacturing team. As a company focused on the development, manufacturing and sale of high quality and affordable generic pharmaceutical products worldwide we are looking for hard working, driven, meticulous individuals to help us maintain our cleaning compliance at our East Windsor, NJ facility.

 This position is located in East Windsor, NJ and is required to be onsite.  

Requirements

If this sounds interesting to you, it’s probably because up to this point you have:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or vocational training in a Facilities Management or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of janitorial, sanitation, or housekeeping experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or GMP-regulated environment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, GDP, OSHA, and safety requirements related to facility cleaning and contamination control.
• Familiarity with cleaning validation, disinfectant rotation, and environmental monitoring protocols.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, cleaning logs, and sanitation schedules accurately.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and support 24/7 operations if required.

The main expectations and responsibilities for this position are:

• Supervise daily janitorial and sanitation operations across production, warehouse, and office areas to ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.
• Assign, train, and oversee janitorial staff, verifying that all cleaning procedures are completed as per approved SOPs and schedules.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits of production and controlled areas for cleanliness and compliance.
• Maintain accurate cleaning logs, checklists, and documentation required for GMP and audit readiness.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of cleaning agents, disinfectants, and chemicals.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Facilities on cleaning validation, environmental monitoring, and corrective actions.
• Manage inventory of janitorial supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and calibration as needed.
• Promote and enforce safety standards, PPE usage, and contamination control practices among staff.
