Responsibilities and Duties
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
    • Bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, skin care, dressing, and toileting
  • Observing, documenting, and reporting client care, symptoms, and emotional or physical status
  • Taking vital signs when ordered
  • Planning and preparing nutritious meals; assisting with feeding as needed
  • Assisting with ambulation, exercise, and range-of-motion activities per plan of care
  • Supporting patients with self-administration of medications
  • Maintaining a clean and safe living environment, including:
    • Light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
  • Running errands and supporting daily household needs
  • Ensuring patient safety and proper use of equipment
  • Completing documentation accurately and in a timely manner
 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automobile insurance, and eligibility under the organization’s motor vehicle check
  • Ability to communicate effectively and document care accurately
  • Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
