POSITION SUMMARY
Pay Range: $49.80hr. to $73.22/hr.

Works under the direction of a board-certified radiologist and is directly responsible for the optimal completion of all procedures utilizing the magnetic resonance imaging scanner.聽 May be assigned to a variety of hospital or clinic locations depending on the needs of the department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performed majority of the time:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Actively maintains a safe environment for all within each of the MRI Safety Zones.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Obtains and maintains proficiency in IV starts for contrast administration.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Begins and ends exams and documents appropriately in EMR.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists in providing care for moderate and deep sedation patients.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Mandatory participation in standby rotation as required or assigned by lead technologist.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provides care appropriate to the age of patients served pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients based on principles of growth and development and life stages.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains a log of all patients, procedures, complications, and system problems.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Describes and applies the physics behind the MRI system.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs quality control functions in MRI in accordance with department quality control process.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists physicians as necessary.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists in patient scheduling.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Transports patients as necessary.
Performed occasionally but critical to successful performance of the job:
