Description

OVERVIEW

We are a growing dermatology practice committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care location in OR and WA. As we continue expanding our aesthetic services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Esthetician to join our team. 

 

The Esthetician will provide professional skincare treatments, perform comprehensive skin consultations, and educate patients on treatment options and medical-grade skincare products. The Esthetician will work closely with dermatology providers, clinical staff, and leadership to deliver exceptional patient care while helping expand access to comprehensive aesthetic services within the community. 


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform professional skincare consultations to assess clients' skin concerns and recommend appropriate treatment plans. 
  • Provide esthetic services and other approved skincare treatments.
  • Educate patients on skincare regimens, treatment expectations, and post-procedure care. 
  • Recommend and promote medical-grade skincare products based on individual patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, products recommended, and patient progress in the EMR or practice management system.
  • Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments are cleaned, disinfected, and maintained according to OSHA and infection control standards. 
  • Prepare treatment rooms and supplies before each appointment. 
  • Collaborate with dermatology providers and clinical staff to ensure continuity of patient care. 
  • Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and esthetic treatment techniques through continuing education.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while building long-term relationships with patients. 
  • Assist in promoting aesthetic services and practice growth initiatives. 
  • Adhere to all clinic policies, safety regulations, and applicable Oregon state licensing requirements. 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current Oregon Esthetician License in good standing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional esthetics experience preferred. 
  • Knowledge of skin anatomy, common skin conditions, and esthetic treatment protocols. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment. 
  • Professional appearance and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. 
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience documenting patient encounters electronically. 

PREFERRED

  • Experience working in a dermatology, medical spa, or other healthcare setting. 
  • Experience providing a variety of professional skincare treatments within scope of practice. 
  • Familiarity with medical-grade skincare products and patient education. 
  • Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) or other healthcare documentation systems. 
  • Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment. 
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
