Our mission is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges to lead self-determined lives in their communities.   As an Assistant Director, you'll oversee all operations of the region's group homes, including supervising managers and staff; providing budget and financial oversight to programs; ensuring compliance with OARs, agency policies, and our philosophy of care; ensuring ISPs, financial safeguards, and other protective measures for the people in our services are followed; participating in licensing reviews and quality assurance processes; and related tasks.   Essential Duties Supervise and manage assigned program managers. Manage each program within agency-approved budget. Review ISP’s developed by Program Managers to ensure compliance. Monitor and conduct monthly reviews of the personal finances of those served. Function as Program Manager when coverage is needed. Ensure adequate Quality Assurance support to each assigned program. Complete state licensing review Plan of Corrections. Participate in weekly Quality Assurance meetings. Assist with new program development. Two years experience in a social service setting for people with developmental disabilities. Working knowledge of the philosophy and approaches used to provide optimal support options to people with developmental disabilities. Staff supervisory experience required.
