Clean Room Technician
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a Clean Room Technician, you will perform activities directly and indirectly related to the completion of environmental and hazardous material warehousing and Clean Room projects through the insertion of dip tubes into prepackaged purity chemicals.Â

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow written work instructions and job procedure documents precisely
- Work safely and utilizes all necessary PPE 
- Escalate any potential safety or quality concerns Perform accurate quality control checks  
- To properly track and maintain all dip-tubes sent by vendors to have on hand, an adequate level of dip-tubed drums to maintain the customers’ requirements 
- Properly use dip-tube management program and other special programs in Warehouse Management System
- Maintain daily startup/shut down procedures packet for day-to-day clean room operation and turn into the cleanroom supervisor 
- Properly tag drums with dip-tubed stickers as inventory is processed through the clean room
- On-call during off hours for any issues associated with dip-tube inventory  
- Check all inserted dip-tubes using proper key codes
- Neutralize and dispose of wastewater as needed 
- Take and send water sample at the end of each month   
- Remove all tubes from spent drums and prepare returnable drums for shipment  
- Maintain cleanliness of the cleanroom
- Receive, label, wrap, inspect, and stow on hold and reject material when returned by delivery staff in accordance with return authorization form SOP 
- Perform filter change-outs when necessary 
- Assist CSR in daily operations 
- Perform warehouse technician duties as needed Â
- Provide assistance for chemical deliveries as needed  
- Participates in process improvement teamsÂ
- Must serve on the Cleanroom Operations committee 
- Participate in safety, quality or other committee memberships as needed
- Order cleanroom supplies as needed through appropriate channels 
- Participate in special operations as requested by the Operations ManagerÂ
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Education: Â
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceÂ
- Hazardous Material Handling experience
Communication Skills: Â
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situation; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings; able to read and interpret written information
- Effectively and appropriately communicate with vendors, customers, providers and other Rinchem employees, including both oral and written communicationÂ
Computer Skills: Â
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Management systems as well as Inventory software
- Ability to compile and analyze data and prepare reports from dataÂ
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
- Obtain and maintain Clean Room Technician Certification
- Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations (We will Train you)
- Requires visual acuity, reading skills, mathematical skills and analytical skillsÂ
Other Skills and Abilities: Â
- Requires visual acuity, reading skills, mathematical skills and analytical skills
- Requires facial hair to be shaved to ensure proper facemask fit
- Ability to organize, review analyze and file paperworkÂ
- Accurately read and comprehend word and numbers
- Ability to create graphs and charts from data
- Ability to discern difference in data to accurately organize information
- Ability to accurately organize, package, store, ship and receive materials
- Ability to always work safely
- Ability to effectively schedule, plan, prioritize and set goals
- Ability to safely drive a forklift in accordance with safe practices 
- Must be able to retain training on primary responsibilities and demonstrate proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periodsÂ
