Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cook/Dietary Aide to join our team at Westview Manor of Peabody. As a Cook, you will play a key role in preparing nutritious and appetizing meals for our residents while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.  Cook and Dietary Aide trade off on jobs.   Westview Manor has not special diets to worry about. 

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals according to the planned menu and dietary requirements
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Assist in meal planning and inventory management
Follow all health and safety regulations
Work collaboratively with dietary staff to meet residents’ needs

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a healthcare or nursing home kitchen preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Reliable and punctual
