Job Description
This internship is payrolled via payroll process provider.Â
 Â
Responsibilities:Â
Develop new or modified processes and methods applied in the manufacturing, fabrication, and evaluation of semiconductorsÂ
Work with group engineers to propose criteria and formats for hardware and process evaluations.Â
Compile, analyze and present experimental data to colleaguesÂ
Create and revise standard operating procedures as needed, and document tasks for future referenceÂ
Compile and analyze test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specificationsÂ
Assist in recommendation and interpretation of physical and chemical behaviors as part of process characterizationÂ
Become familiar with semiconductor processing techniques through literature and hands on learningÂ
Prepare and present a final project reportÂ
Complete safety training to allow supervised work in the TEL process labÂ
Â
Preferred Qualifications:Â
Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Nanoscience or Engineering; Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering; Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related fieldsÂ
Experience with Statistical Design and Analysis of Experiment methodsÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Must be fluent in EnglishÂ
Must be able to work in teams as well as individuallyÂ
Experience working safely in a laboratory environment with hazardous chemicalsÂ
Ability and desire to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary and diverse teamÂ
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorshipÂ

Physical Requirements:Â
Job duties may be performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds may be required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing.  May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional overnight travel to TEL factory, training facilities and customer locations may be required.Â
