Job DetailsJob Location: SKEETER MAIN - HILLSBORO, TX 76645Position Type: Full TimeThe Quality Specialist ensures that all work done at each station on Skeeter trucks meets customer specifications. This involves inspecting work at each step of production, signing off when it meets standards, and ensuring the production line continues. If issues arise, they work with the Production Supervisor to resolve them. After assembly, the Quality Specialist inspects the completed truck, creating rework orders if needed. The Quality Specialist communicates constantly with the Blue Floor team to resolve any recurring issues. Essential Job Functions: Design and implement process controls, improvements, and inspections. Ensure consistency between manufacturing systems and QC documentation. Manage work orders in the ERP system related to quality. Inspect work at each station and close production lines once tasks are complete. Represent quality in cross-functional teams. Assist in developing test methods (e.g., pump testing, road testing, functional testing). Resolve customer quality concerns by reworking trucks. Manage QC rework orders and close production lines once tasks are done. Work with suppliers to maintain quality of incoming materials. Perform other job duties as assigned by the Director of Manufacturing.  QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred Experience in quality systems and manufacturing processes Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites – Word, Office, Excel, etc. Ability to read prints and customer specs Good communication skills (both written and oral) and ability to interact effectively with team members  Ability to maintain confidentiality and have a positive attitude when working with others.   Required Education: • High School Diploma Preferred Education: • AS or BS degree preferred, but not required Required Experience: • 3 years in Quality and/or Manufacturing Engineering • 3 years in Fire Service Equipment • 3 years in a Manufacturing Environment
