About this role

Join Emplify Health by Gundersen as a Speech Language Pathologist and help patients improve communication, swallowing, and overall function. In this role, you will work with patients and families across Hillsboro and Friendship, providing individualized evaluation, treatment, and education. Your work supports our mission of empathy amplified by helping people reach their goals with compassion, collaboration, and expert care.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients based on individual learning needs and functional goals.

  • Provide education and intervention using task analysis to support optimal patient care.

  • Collaborate with a variety of professionals and communicate the value of speech therapy services.

  • Complete documentation according to departmental standards to support patient care and reimbursement.

  • Meet standards of practice according to federal, state, and professional association guidelines.

What you will need

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. required.

  • No experience required.

  • Speech Language Pathology license for the state of Wisconsin, required.

  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology required within 18 months of hire after 1 year fellowship.

  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification required.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and patient education skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
