We are seeking a skilled and safety-driven Electrician to join our team.  This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects.  The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality electrical installations. We are hiring in both the Reading and Lehigh Valley areas for various job site locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with code requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Bend and install conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC) and pull wire efficiently.
  • Install panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and controls.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify electrical issues.
  • Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
  • Follow all company and  jobsite safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers, foreman, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of electrical experience (commercial/industrial preferred).
  • Apprenticeship certification.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and methods.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of low-voltage systems, fire alarm, or data cabling.
  • Familiarity with layout and installation planning.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly.
  • Stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods.
  • Work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.


Work Environment: 

  • This job is fully in person, on site.

Salary:

  • IBEW Journeyman rate, varies by location
