Description

GlobalRx is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to transition into a business-focused pharmaceutical procurement role.

This position manages the full quote-to-shipment process, including sourcing medications, negotiating vendor pricing, processing purchase orders, and overseeing shipment accuracy. The role directly impacts revenue and margin growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician looking to move out of retail and into a stable weekday office role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Source prescription and OTC medications from approved vendors
  • Research hard-to-find and backordered drugs
  • Negotiate pricing and apply company markups
  • Prepare and send customer quotes
  • Process purchase orders in ERP system
  • Coordinate shipments and verify order accuracy
  • Manage cold chain and controlled products when required
  • Track shipments and communicate with customers

Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of NDCs, brand/generic drugs, and dosage forms
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office setting
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
